We realize that there are a lot of questions when planning your big day so we have listed our costs, payment terms and conditions below: 

Our Inn provides you with a beautiful setting on the water, surrounded by nature. The Inn has a front garden area located near the water and a large back garden/lawn available for the Reception.  The space can accommodate up to 150 people.

The cost for the venue is $4,800.    All 23 rooms of the Back Bay Inn must be reserved for two nights.  The rooms include 14 rooms in the Main Building, 4 Garden rooms, the Cabana, Bungalow, Loft, Studio and Gallery Bedroom. Our room rates vary from $100-$275 per night based on double occupancy and time of the year and extra guests incur additional fees.  The bride & groom will receive one complimentary room for the two nights.

The venue includes the wedding gardens and wedding platform.  You are also more than welcome to use our Gathering Room with its kitchen and utilize the outside area to cook and stage the food and drink.  We do require you to rent a tent for the Reception and also to rent portable rest rooms.  

All other wedding amenities such as tables, chairs, catering, music, photographer, flowers etc. for your event are your own choice.  For wedding amenities, we recommend "Got You Covered" at www.gycrentals.com in San Luis Obispo, or Taylor Rental Party Plus, who are also in San Luis Obispo.

The Reception must end by 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights,  and 9pm on Sunday through Thursday nights.

A non-refundable blocking fee of $300.00 is required to put a hold on the rooms and lock in the room rates.
Two months prior to the event, we require a 30% non-refundable deposit for the room charges and the venue fee.  The 70% balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event.  At this time we also require the $750 security deposit.

Any damage to the rooms or to the grounds, including any necessary heavy cleaning will be taken out of the $750 security deposit and the remaining amount will be returned to you.  One of the Garden rooms, the Cabana and one room in the Main Building on the water are designated as pet-friendly rooms.  Room rates are for double occupancy; there are additional charges for additional guests and pets.
